I haven’t been here for a while, but there was a reason: in November a lovely little person joined our family. Meet Tom. (He’s super cute, isn’t he?)
New pattern: Leaf Lace Cardigan
I haven’t been able to knit much recently, but I managed to make three cardigans for the Big Sister.
The first one is Leaf Lace Cardigan – a light cardigan made in Malabrigo Sock in Lettuce, with simple top down raglan construction, and not that simple lace pattern at the back. It was fun to knit – I couldn’t put it down. Even when I slept only 3-4 hours a night, before Tom started sleeping through the night, I couldn’t help knitting just a few rows whenever I got up to feed him at night.
It took long, but the pattern has already been tested and tech edited, and will be available on Ravelry and Craftsy from tomorrow (June 3rd 2015). An adult version will be available too – it still needs testing. You can get a 15% discount code for Leaf Lace Cardigan (kids’) or another pattern of your choice from my Ravelry store – just sign up for my email updates here (the code will start working tomorrow, after the pattern has been released on Ravelry).
I’ll write about the other 2 cardigans in the next post. See you then.
