THE PATTERN

Feather Lace Cowl is worked in the round, in Ostrich Plumes stitch, which is easier to knit than it looks – you only work the lace pattern every 4th round, the remaining rounds being plain stockinette stitch rounds. The cowl is finished with flexible BO edging. The instructions are written for aran/ worsted weight yarn, but they can be easily modified for different weight yarns, from very light to chunky – there is more information on how to do it in the last section of the pattern.

Skill level
Knitting in the round, provisional CO and working a lace pattern. You can download  Crochet Provisional CO Tutorial here.
